Our Club has entered a Women's Team for the 2025/26 Summer Season.  We are recruiting female players from the age of 13 years upwards - there is no age limit, just a desire to play baseball and either hone or learn new skills. No matter your level of experience, our club offers a supportive and inclusive environment where players can learn and grow from our top-notch coaches - all while having fun!  Skills obtained from other sports can be easily transferrable. Providing a pathway for our Junior Girls is a top priority for 2025 and future years.

Our Women's team is supported by all our Senior coaches & players including our Premier League 1st's & Premier 1 Reserves Teams.  Training is led by Dennis Neal whose CV includes pitching for the Melbourne Aces in the Australian Baseball League during the 2024/2025 Summer Season.  Teams play on Saturdays.

Williamstown Baseball Club commenced fielding a Women's team in Summer 2021-2022. Our club has a long history relating to women's baseball. We fielded a team in the Women.'s Baseball League's inaugural summer season of 1994-1995 and did so until 2006. Williamstown won the Division 3 flag in their first year.  Our own Les Flower, Life Member, was the CEO of Baseball Victoria from 1989 through to 2001, and was integral to the inception of the Women's Baseball League in Victoria. Les tells us, that in the first season BV expected six to eight teams to register but instead received twenty-six team registrations, and the following season, fifty teams registered.

WBC knows that baseball is a wonderful sport that can be enjoyed by everyone, no matter your gender, age, or skill level. We have a wonderful training community that are waiting to welcome all new members and their families.

 COME & TRY DAY date 14th September 2025

Great camaraderie and loads of fun.   You only need to bring yourself, a pair of runners and a drink bottle.  Expect to do some light running, throwing and batting exercises.  No experience required but definitely need a thirst for fun, exercise and teamwork all within a relaxed environment.

BBQ to follow (free) and a meet and greet with some of our Senior players . 

We will also we having additional pre-season sessions after our Come and Try Day.  Welcome to attend one or all of sessions - no fees!
