Baseball Victoria live-streamed the first of three episodes of their Awards Presentation 'Night' last night and it was great news for the Williamstown Wolves. Congratulations to our star shortstop, pitcher, and batter, Jayde Thorne! Winner of both the Pitching (37.2 IP, 0.92 ERA, 2-1 W-L, 1 SV, 38 SO) and Batting awards (.462 BA, 42H, 27 R, 34 RBI - and 3 home runs) for the summer season 2019/2020 Div 2. We are all looking forward to getting back to baseball in the coming weeks and wish Jayde all the best for the coming season. We are beyond proud he's part of the wolf pack and feel privileged to have him not only on the field but also around the club in general. Last summer he coached a Junior team, attended every club function, took his turn at manning the canteen, and always made himself available for a quick chat with any player needing advice on their baseball. BV will be streaming tomorrow night (Thursday, October 1st) at 7pm for coach, volunteer, and umpire awards, and Friday night at 7pm for club championships and MVPs. Congratulations Jayde!
